- Dies: Made of high-quality alloy steel, integrated molding processing technology, clear thread and good hardness.
- Applications: Widely used in cast iron, copper, brass, abrasive steel, A3 steel, and other metal materials to process threads.
- Tips: Tapping angle should be 90 degrees vertical and stable. The higher the hardness, the slower the speed. The tapping depth should not exceed 1.5 times the diameter of the tap.

The tap and die are well ground and have sharp cutting threads. They work well on aluminum but due to the fine thread pitch, a slow and well lubricated approach is recommended.
Using a good thread cutting oil and backing the tap a quarter turn per cutting turn seems to work well.
The set is definitely worth the price.
